Long Page

What do I do if my page gets too long? I just started this blog and I plan to go far, but what if one day all my entries make the page too long……do I make a new page and link them to it? I need help.

Well there is a couple of things you can do against having a too long page.
You can use the ‘More’ tag (3rd icon from the right in the editor toolbar). This tag will show only part of your article. You can learn more about it here : http://en.support.wordpress.com/splitting-content/more-tag/
It is possible limit the number of articles shown per page. Instead of the standard 10 articles, you can shrink that to 5 if you think it’s too big. It will also make the page load faster since there is less data to be fetched. You can accomplish that by going to your Dashboard, then go to Settings->Reading, and modify the number at ‘Blog pages show at most’.
The blog page will automatically show ‘Older Posts’ when you have more posts than the maximum you specified per page.

Well thank you Francis for the suggestion, just to make sure we are on the same page. If I add posts to a page, it will eventually give the option for older posts if I exceed the number of posts per page?

Thank you, but one more question. How do you exactly add a post to a page. If you go to my website geimpactyouth.wordpress.com and go to the blog tab, you will see that I just added text and linked the post from the page. Is there a better way to do this? Sorry for asking so many questions :)

Well the home page shows by default the most recent articles. If you want to specify a page to show the articles. You need to go in your Dashboard, Settings->Reading then in ‘Front page displays’ you specify the page you named Blog and you select a new front page.
