long-running script

  I find my blog is hard to scroll through. It keeps stopping and I get the pop-up message “wordpress is not responding due to a long-running script”. I use the Edda format and have been embedding quite a few YouTube clips recently. I’ve tried reducing font size to small but it doesn’t help much. I would be grateful for any suggestions as to how to speed things up. I assume things are also slow for my readers.
