Looking for a free theme with free customisation etc

  Hi

  Starting out with WordPress to create my new site to promote my books, and I’ve noticed something. The Free themes don’t come with free customisation of fonts, colours etc and I’m going potty trying to find a theme that suits me.

  I have been using Blogger and I don’t have this problem. Free means free.

  Can anyone suggest a theme where I don’t have to pay more money to customise it? I don’t want a site that looks like everybody and his dog’s.
