Looking for a solid databasebuilder with many user's login

  I’m looking to develop an application to create consultant profiles, that could be edited and updated by them directly. Then I need to provide access to registered clients to browse, search, filter to select the most appropriate skill-set.

  Is this possible inside WP?
  can WP environment to lets say 10K+ consultants database?
