Looking for a suggestion on a theme to use

Please help select a good theme. My first try at blogging. I am writing collection of tips for a computer game, and will end up with collection of short articles that should be grouped or cataloged somehow into a meaningful structure, where date the post is written is not that important, instead what it refers to and posts related to the same subject are more important. At this point I written 10 and it is beginning to look messy, so I can see how it will become blob of stuff without some kind of structure.
Can anyone recommend a theme that is good for this type of blog? I am certain I am not the only one who is doing this type of stuff on wordpress

I’m sorry but it’s my opinion that every blogger ought to go through the process of selecting their own theme. Here’s the link to the Themes Showcase. There is a seachbox and you can use it to search for specific features. You can also live demo all the over 150 themes there.

;) thanks, i am with you on selecting your own theme, but I am hoping to get some suggestions from the pro’s like you and others on this forum who could maybe point out some good options

The “options” depend on what you want your site to look like – maybe half the Themes would work OK for your site – I went with the old 2010 in part because of the large type size to help my poor eyes and I wanted a site that was not too flashy for boating safety – new header image – change the background border to blue and there it is –
Themes are personal and that is why we are reluctant to give you firm marching orders.
You might think about the More Tag if you want to clean up the Posts on the front page a bit.
