Looking for a theme for .pdfs as well as photos and words

I am setting up a blog of stories, photos and documents of my family’s Ancestral history. I want a clean layout with many stories shown and a thumbnail photo for each story. I liked the ”suburbia” theme used by “peopleofpancho” but understand it is no longer available. Rowling or Revelar seem like possibly alternatives. Can anyone tell me if either/both of these accept scans of documents, as well as photos, in addition to long word documents? Are there any other themes I might consider similar to the above referenced one, whether free or paid? This is all new to me but I look forward to getting started. Thank you for any suggestions. Max
