Looking for CSS suggestions.
-
Hi everyone. I’m still fairly new to editing CSS, but through trial and error I’ve successfully made several changes to the k2 theme. I just have a few minor tweaks I’m pulling my hair out over, and I hope someone will be able to help.
If you look at the images I’ve posted in my blog, there’s a white border around each. In IE, this displays nicely, but in Firefox, the border disappears on the right side. Truth be told, I’d rather just take out the border altogether or make it black.
Second, does anyone know how I can change the color of the blog/about buttons to better match my colors?
The last color I’d like to tweak, but can’t seem to find is the date text. (“Published April 4, 2009,” etc.)
Any help will be deeply appreciated.

1) remove the border here. From a “just in case” standpoint, you can either remark it out or set it to 0px in case you want it back or want to find it again:
#primary .entry-content img
border:1px solid #CCCCCC;2) About and Blog change to show navigation. I don’t really understand your question.
3) The date is part of .entry-meta and changing any meta changes them all.

Your border suggestion worked perfectly. Thanks! :D
For the About button, I would like to change it to a red or a blue to match the theme.

This is not the exact red in your blog. You can find that hex in your stylesheet and use it instead.
BTW, please link your blog to your username as outlined in the sticky “8 Things to Know.” At the very least, when providing a link, please start with http so we can just click on it.
ul.menu li a { color:red; font-size:1em; margin:0; } -
Thank you, that worked!
One last thing that I seem to be bumbling with is the text color for entries. I’d like to lighten it up a bit, but for all of my trial and error, I can’t seem to find it.
I thought it’d be somewhere in #primary .entry-content, but I don’t seem to be having any effect when I test.
Thanks again for your help.

It’s here. A good example why I hate trying to read text on a black background.
.entry-content { color:#444444; font-size:1.2em; line-height:1.8em; text-align:justify; }If you want to get into CSS beyond these little basics, the CSS forum stickies have links to good resources, as does the CSS editing page in your dashboard.
