Looking for design with infinite scroll displaying "pages" rather than "posts"
-
I’ve been looking at a lot of themes that use infinite scroll. I don’t know if there’s anything out-of-the-box that would do this or if it requires customization. Basically I want the look of the blog scroll but have it apply to “page” content for static web content instead of posts. I know how to display a page as the default, but don’t necessarily want all my content in one page. I want to have the post theme styles apply to the separate pages, that way I can get the segmented template look, etc. I would also love to use a sticky nav with anchors on the page. Please let me know if you have any advise. Many thanks!

If you want infinite scroll, I would suggest using posts, because as @raincoaster says, there isn’t any such theme here at WordPress.com, and it isn’t something that can be done with CSS.
Posts can be styled to look like pages (remove date, tags, categories) with CSS.

Thanks @thesacredpath. That makes total sense. The only possible challenge for me will be make what behaves like a main nav pointing to the posts (as anchors on the page), if that makes sense. : )

With a Custom Menu, you can put posts into the main navigation. See our Custom Menu support document for more details on that.
