Looking for free theme with sidebar on homepage to write quick pieces of news

    Hi guys, I’m looking for a simple theme with a sidebar, or a fixed space or whatever (preferably on the right hand-side, but it’s not important) where I can write quick snippets of news – while leaving the main articles on the other, let’s say, 3/4 of the page!

    I’ve managed to put a widget in the theme I’m currently using, but it only shows when you click on an article – not on the main page!

    Is there a theme like that for free? Thanks for the help!!

    Hello!

    Here’s one suggestion…
    Most themes have a sidebar, and you could add a text widget to it, but that may get cumbersome.

    Have you considered setting up a Twitter account, and using the Twitter widget?
