My company needs to have a feature where there is a login or members area for our current clients separate from the screens for prospective clients. Does WordPress have that capability?

WordPress itself will let you password protect pages, so you could just create a page for each client, and then send each client their link and password. If you don’t have tons of clients, this may work well for you.
If you want a more automated approach, I’m sure there are several plugins available for that. You would just need to use a Business Plan if you’re also using our services:
