Looking for Slideshow Plugin

  Hello, I’m searching for a WP slideshow plugin. It should have categories BUT the main thing is that the categories should be choosable by thumbnail (or at least category name). All the plugins I’ve found you can show 1 gallery at a time, or all together, but I haven’t found one yet where you can actually select the category you want to view. Help would be greatly appreciated.

  Thank you for your reply. The blog is not actually up yet, it’s in development.

  This: http://www.herbiehancock.com/#media.php shows roughly what I’m looking for though, a slideshow with chooseable categories

  Thanks for the URL. As I suspected you are referring to a WordPress.ORG install. You need to post to the WordPress.ORG support forum for help with your site because it is not hosted by WordPress.COM.

  WordPress.com and WordPress.org are completely separate, have different log-ins and run different versions of some themes with same names. http://support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/

  If you don’t have a username account at WordPress.ORG click http://wordpress.org/support/ and register one on the top right hand corner of the page that opens, so you can post to the support forums there and receive advice from WordPress.ORG bloggers.
