Looking for the Right Theme for My Blog

I need the following:
Must have (if possible to have all of these)
Free
Sidebar menu like Independent Publisher or Coherent
Doesn’t crop featured images or lets me decide how to crop them
Different color for links (Coherent’s links were black just like the text)
Elegant look like Libretto or ChateauDesired
Flexibility in choosing colors and fontsThe blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi Stephen,
The vast majority of our themes will crop featured images in order to make sure they look good across all devices. We also don’t have any themes that allow you to choose how a featured image is cropped.
In terms of your other requirements: Ryu, Lyretail, Resonar, Tonal, and Sorbet may suit you.
Take a look over the above suggestions and let me know anything you specifically like/dislike. I’ll be happy to help with further suggestions, too.

I have loaded Publication and I like many of the features.. Now that I know that even with premium, I have no control over the cropping of the featured images with any of the themes, I think I will stick with Publication. It’s not as elegant as I like, but I think function will take precedence over form for now.
