Looking to build a business website using WordPress and have a few questions:

The following questions pertain to the hosted online version:
I assume I am able to install any plugins required to support my business needs? For example, I am looking to add MemberMouse to manage members and payments.
Does WordPress support https? If so, how difficult is this to setup?
Am I able to access the underlying MySQL database for my site? If so, are there any restrictions?
I will need to build robust forms – what plugins work best with WordPress to accomplish this?
Can I install third party themes, such as wunderkind?
I assume I can change the URL to the domain name of the company this is being built for?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

WordPress can do all the things you desire and then some, but only if you are “Self Hosted”. WordPress.com won’t allow for 3rd party plugins, themes it’s a managed service.
You’ll need to get hosting on your own to have the services you wish. More info can be found here:

WordPress.COM and WordPress.ORG are completely separate and have different username accounts, logins, features, run different versions of some themes with the same names, and have separate support documentation and separate support forums. Read the differences here http://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/
