looks different in different browers

  I used a wordpress template and it looks great in Firefox, but when I view the site in Internet Explorer, the columns are not aligned. Is there anyone who can point me in the direction of how to fix this?

  Any direction would be much appreciated.

  The columns in IE7 are aligned for me just fine as long as my browser window is set wide enough. Otherwise, the right hand column drops to the bottom of the middle of the center column.

  Okay, thanks.

  I suppose my screen is just small at it’s widest. It doesn’t seem to happen though in Firefox though, even if I reduce the browser window size.

  Each browser is going to “render” web pages slightly differently. IE is more rigid and will often do things like this were Firefox is a little more intelligent and realizes that there will be a problem and it make minor adjustments to keep the layout from breaking.
