Looks Like a Spamming Category

So far, I’ve seen a category automatically added to my categories section in my wordpress blog dashboard. It also named itself “1”, and though I’ve tried to remove it so many times, it’s still there right after I did that and despite my annoyance. I’d appreciate your sharing of the problem in common, and it’s great if you show me how to stop that now. Many thanks. Nick.

The Category “1” is the default category, what you need to do is write a new category while writing a post to link to a new category this FAQ will teach you how to manage your categories. –> http://en.support.wordpress.com/posts/category-management/

You should choose a “default category.”
settings -> writing settings -> choose a default category from the drop down menuIf you write a post
and do not assign it to a category
and have not chosen a default category,
then WordPress will assign one, that is “1” for you.
