losing embedded content

since moving to blocks, i am losing SOME embedded content.
here’s what i do…..
write the blog featuring new music
i then link to youtube, bandcamp, spotity, etc but use the embed code for each song.
pretty straightforward – i’ve been doing it this way since 2010.
now. i list the name and title of the song, switch to code editor, add embed code, then click on visual editor, then update via ‘schedule’ (i can see no other way to update.
a couple things….
1. after adding embed code, if i use the shortcut shift-ctrl-alt-M, the code i added disappears.
2. if doing the above but i click back to visual editor, code saves. HOWEVER
3. sometimes, not always, when i then preview the page, some of the songs featured just show the name and title of the song — the link to youtube or to spotify or whatever is gone — just the name and title appears. now, this is occurring in scheduled content. i have no idea if that’s how the particular day will appear when it arrives. i suspect the links won’t appear because they’re not in preview (under desktop, tablet or phone).
it worked today (only one link). but if i use multiple links (which i do frequently) i seem to have the disappearing content issue. since 2010, i’ve enjoyed writing this blog. not so much since blocks appeared (and for what it’s worth, i build sites with divi). -

thanks for replying. i suspect it’s the iframe issue with non-business accounts.
i write this blog for basically five weeks a year – but i enjoy it.
that is until blocks.
i’ll probably move to my own domain after the season — but i do appreciate help in the meantime.
