Losing followers and posts when changing domain

    Hi I’m a little confused, I want to change my wordpress.com blog domain from Scoutingtheyearaway.wordpress.com to something else will I lose all of my followers and posts/content? Also will my followers be able to see my posts on the new domain in their readers or will I have to email each one and notify them.
