Losing post format in menu/categories
-
I’m setting up my blog and created a custom menu. One of my categories is “Lists.” If I view the post on the main blog, or by clicking the post name itself (“Things I am grateful for”), I can see the ordered list format. However, if I click on “Lists” from my top-nav custom menu, or from Categories in the sidebar, the ordered list formatting disappears. How can I prevent this from happening?

Your blog is “private” and Volunteers answering support questions cannot examine it. You will have to contact Staff. Here’s the link http://en.support.wordpress.com/contact/ After you use the searchbox, under the search results, at the bottom of the page there will be a section that says “Have you found the answer to your question?” You can choose either “Yes I found the answer to my question.” or “No I didn’t find the answer to my question and I would like to contact support for help.” The no option will reveal the contact form.

Most likely you’re using a theme that displays the beginnings of your posts on category pages. If that’s the case, then you need to switch to a theme that displays full posts – see here:
