Losing ‘Saved’ Work

So, I keep saving my work, and it says it’s saved, and then I close the tab, and when I reopen it, my work has been deleted. It’s very frustrating, and it’s made my blogging life extremely tedious, basically, I can’t draft thing, I have to write everything in one session. I would be extremely grateful of some help.

Hi there, let’s try the following first. Log out of WordPress.com, clear your browser cache and cookies, restart your browser and then log back in and try saving something, but right before you save, select all the content in the post or page and copy it to your clipboard and then paste it into a plain text file for safe keeping.
The procedure I have always used is when writing a new post, and have never had an issue is to put in a title, even if it is just a placeholder, then move my cursor into the text area and click the save button. I also save multiple times when I’m writing.
Also, try using a different browser to see if it is related to a certain browser, but until you are confident, copy and paste the content so you don’t lose anything if the save fails.
