losing the default links .. can I ?
-
Got a website where the client wants no links at all other than those they chose.
Frankly I think they are being a bit pedantic about it .. but they have flagged up the default links at the base of each page to : wordpress, the theme and the theme creator as being something they wish removed.
Any ideas how I set about erasing those links?

We need the URL of the client’s site in question beginning with http before we can provide you with accurate help.

Sorry, but staff has asked that “Blog at WordPress.Com – Theme: __ by __” remain at the bottom of each WordPress.COM blog:
https://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic/changes-to-blog-footer?replies=12#post-556778If that’s a dealbreaker for your clients, they may consider switching to a self-hosted WordPress.ORG blog instead, where they can do pretty much whatever they want with the footer.
