Loss of a site
-
I have been a member of WordPress for several months, and made several postings during that time. I then left it for several weeks before attempting to return to it. While I could see the posts I had made before I logged in and was actually able to log in, when I clicked-onto ‘My Site’ I was told ‘You don’t have a Wordpres site’. Worse still, the ‘my’ site seems to have become a non-Woprdpress address XXX(@kargmo’ and ‘kargmo’ also seems to have established itself as a password. What has happened and how do I get ‘my’ site back.. As well who / what is ‘kargmo’? Thanks.

We provide support only for wordpress.COM hosted sites. Our support docs do not apply to
(1) local installs of wordpress.ORG software on your own server or
(2) wordpress.ORG software installs on paid hosting, and we do not provide support for them at wordpress.COM.Also, note that we do not provide Jetpack support https://jetpack.me/support/ for sites linked to wordpress.COM accounts with the Jetpack plugin.
You could be posting to the wrong support forum.
What is the exact URL starting with http:// of the site you refer to please?
I’m asking because we cannot accurately answer questions posted here until we have confirmed the URL referred to and verified the hosting. And, that is why we are all prompted to provide the relevant URL when we create a new thread.

Clear your browser cache https://en.support.wordpress.com/browser-issues/#clearing-your-browser-cache and cookies https://en.support.wordpress.com/browser-issues/#clearing-wordpress-com-cookies and then log in under the exact same username account that registered that site. The Admin login link for that site is https://nzcrownmines.wordpress.com/wp-admin/
