loss of posts

I have lost 8 posts. They were there last night- but not this morning. Is there a mechanism to retrieve them? Needless to say, I’m a little upset. I could use some help. Thank you.

I’m sorry to hear that! Currently, I see 8 published posts in your Dashboard -> Posts page. Can you let me know the titles of the posts that you’re missing?
I also see that there are two posts in your Trash folder, which you can access via your Posts -> Trash page. Are either of these posts that you lost?
You can restore posts from the Trash by following these instructions:

My apologies for this post. How can I take it down permanently. Must have needed a bit more sleep, I think- I confused “Post” with “page” in the dashboard and jumped to conclusions. I am new at blogging and to this site. Part of the learning curve- which is not really all that steep here. Thank you for the quick response. I’m impressed!
