I contracted Octa Web Design to develop my website according to my specifications. However, they delivered it without proper testing or resolving any issues. It appears they utilized Elementor for the design. Currently, I lack the Elementor user ID and password, and I’m encountering Host Errors on my ‘Contact’ page. Additionally, attempting to log into Elementor with my website ID displays an email for ‘Eric Phillips,’ presumably linked to Octa Web Design. Unfortunately, they have not provided me with the Elementor login credentials, and despite repeated calls since April, they have not responded or completed my website. I am unable to launch my website with these unresolved problems and am concerned about the potential loss of my data if ‘Eric Phillips’ disconnects Elementor from my site.

We can’t help as your site isn’t running on the wordpress.com platform. You could try to get help on the WordPress.org website.

why do you say that? They used WordPress and Elementor as a plug-in. My site is located on wordpress.com. can you help me understand why you’re saying that I have to go to wordpress.org and that my website is not on the WordPress platform?

You are posting into the forums for free sites hosted at WordPress.com. Checking your URL with a Whois confirms that your site isn’t on WordPress.com servers. Your site may be built with the wordpress software but sites built with the wordpress software can be hosted anywhere. I think you need to reach out to whoever designed your site.
