Lost access to branded blog- need help restoring
-
Hello, thanks for reading.
We have a had some turnover and the WordPress account we were using to host our blog was never turned over to the proper people. The registry lapsed last week. I was hoping to figure out how to reactivate the blog. Again, we do not have the account details but the site is heavily branded and we can prove it belongs to us. -
Hi there,
Can you please let me know your site’s address so I can point you in the right direction of getting support?
Please note that these forums are for WordPress.com hosted sites only. If your site is using the self-hosted version of WordPress you need to seek help at the WordPress.org forums:

Hi fstat,
I do not believe the team who owned this would have self hosted so I chose this forum. Can you confirm that assumption? Sorry if I am in the wrong place.
The site was at: https://princetonreview.blog/ -
Hi tprstudentsurvey,
Thanks — princetonreview.blog is indeed a WordPress.com site, so you are in the right place for help. If you are unable to login or cannot remember the account email address, we’ll need you to fill out the account recovery form:
The transaction ID from the last renewal can be submitted via the form (do not share that here) and it’s worth noting we can only accept the information on this form as proof of ownership.
Come back to me if you have any questions.
