@asimplenature2016 thanks. Those are indeed hosted with us.
We do need some proof of ownership though.
Have you tried regaining access to the email address?
-
yes. I think I found my password buy now my user name isnt recognized. Arghhh! Please help.
-
Both sites are owned by asimplenature7 so please try logging in with that username and the password you found. Are you able to login to the other account with those details?
-
Ok. Thanks. I will try with asimplenature7. And Im not quite sure I understand your last question?
-
Yeah! It looks like my password was correct!! Thank you.
Now, How do I update my email address for ASimpleNature7 because the email linked to that account is no longer valid. (email visible only to moderators and staff) is the current one I am using. -
You can’t use the same address twice, and it’s already set up for that other account. But here’s a handy trick:
Set the address to the one you specified, but add a dot somewhere in the first part of the email address (like before the 3). You’ll be able to save the changes, because it’s technically a different address, but your mail provider will still treat it as though it’s the same address on their end.
If you don’t want a dot in the address on your real account, you can log out, log in as asimplenature2016, and update the address using a dot there, thus freeing up the real address. Then log back into this account and you’ll be able to use the real address without a dot.
Does that make sense? Even if it’s a little foggy, I’d recommend giving it a go to see what I mean. So pick which account can have a dot in it, log into that account, and change its email address accordingly. If you get stuck, let us know.
