Lost access to my sites!

    Hello, I have tried to log in, reset passwords many, many times but each time it says I have not websites built. But I have been with WordPress for nearly 8-10 years building sites. This has never happened. I just got a new computer. My paid sites are: novaturientworkshops.com and kidsshareworkshops.com. I am heading to London for three months but will desperately need to get in. I hope someone can help me aside from cloning the site. I feel like my wordpress account has been hacked.     Hi Kristina,

    Your WordPress.com account hasn’t been hacked. You are currently logged in as kristinakidsshare but novaturientworkshops.com and kidsshareworkshops.com are owned by another account.

    Please try logging out of kristinakidsshare and log back in with the username kristinaapplegate.

    Can you see these sites listed under My Sites when logged in to the other account?

    Come back to me if you have any trouble.

    Hello,

    I have the same issue. I own a blog for 10 years, which is still running. Though it never shows in “my sites” list, which is empty.
    My blog is Kunglers.wordpress.com
    All started a few days ago, when i tried to login my account and i got the message about my password not being correct ( and i’m sure it was ). I have tried for a password resend or change, but my blog is no longer accessible.

    Try to sign in with the kunglers user account in order to access kunglers.wordpress.com.

    Hello liz,

    I’ve tried this a few times, but apparently my password is incorrect. When I ask you to resend the password, I do not receive anything in my email (I’m not sure, but I think it’s my email (email visible only to moderators and staff) that is linked to that account). Do you have any way to confirm if this email is linked? I also tried to recover the account, but I do not have any of the 3 tests that it asks to prove, even because it is an account already with more than 10 years. Is there anything I can do? By now, the only thing that might be wrong ( i imagine ), is that my linked email must be old and i cannot remeber which or how to access it.

    Hi Ava,

    For security reasons, we cannot confirm the email address associated with the account. After submitting the password reset for kunglerscheck any email address, you may have used. Make sure to check the junk/spam folders of your providers. Also, note that some providers may dump messages into a “promotions” filter.

    If you’re still having trouble, the only thing to do is try the Account Recovery Form again providing as much information as possible.

    As a tip, you may also enter your username into the Lost Password Form which ensures that the reset link goes to the right email.

    Hi,

    Thanks for all tips and hints. I find out that my (email visible only to moderators and staff) is actually associated to my KUNGLERS account. I know this, because i created another blog to test it. I logged in with the new account i “followed” my kunglers.wordpress.com blog. Than i got a message in my (email visible only to moderators and staff) about a new follower. So it must be the right email. However when trying to reset the password, the information never comes to the referred email. I checked spam, promotions, trash…nothing….so, by now i dont know what else to do to continue having access to my 10 years old blog.

    @avagardnerkungler, I checked the email on the kunglers account in an email checker and it is returning this.

    UNKNOWN The SMTP server is taking too much time to respond.

    I would suggest thinking about it and see if you can think of any additional email addresses you may have used on that account.

    I’m in! Fabulous! I am a bit embarrassed it was a simple reminder of my username. But thank you again! I almost agreed to clone my website for a fee with wordpress.org.
