    Hi,

I built my site on wordpress a while ago and bought the domain through Google. Recently I forwarded the http://www.graphx-media.nl domain to another website.

After a few days I removed the forwarding but right now I’m no longer able to access my website but also can’t get access to my wp-admin.

I get this error message when I try to access the domain by URL: DNS_PROBE_FINISHED_NXDOMAIN

Can you guys point me in the right direction, I’m a bit lost here. Thanks in advance and have a wonderful day!

    kind regards,

    Mischa

    Hello!

I checked your domain, and from what I see, your site is not hosted on WordPress.com. Given this, it’s what we refer to as a self-hosted WordPress site.

💡 You can read more about the difference between WordPress.com and self-hosted (WordPress.org) sites here:

WordPress is a publishing platform that makes it easy for anyone to publish online and proudly powers millions of websites. This guide explains the differences between WordPress.com vs. WordPress.org to help you decide which one is best for you. Overview of Options Using WordPress comes in three flavors: Fully hosted with WordPress.com. WordPress.com with an upgraded plan that allow

To provide more context — on WordPress.com, we provide fully managed hosting and use a custom server environment that is optimized for WordPress, which provides built-in security and performance improvements, as well as in-house support for your site questions.

I suggest checking this link for more info on how you can get help if you host your site on WordPress.com:

WordPress.com offers a number of avenues for reaching helpful, individualized support, but we understand that it can sometimes be difficult to find the best place to ask your question. This guide explains the various types of support offered for WordPress.com and WordPress.com-related services, and how to take advantage of them. It will help you get straight to the right source, so that you can

Because of the way we’ve optimized our service, we also use a customized version of WordPress that is different (under the hood) from what you use with your hosting provider. As a result, we do not have access to your site and are not familiar with the source of your issue.

💡 You definitely have the option to move your site to us, so we can provide in-house help, but as it stands now, we cannot help since it is hosted elsewhere. The good news is that help is available here at the open-source WordPress forums: https://wordpress.org/support/forum/how-to-and-troubleshooting/

The folks in that forum are more familiar with these kinds of issues and are in the best position to help. Thanks!
