Lost access to my website
-
I tried to switch my website to a different email and now I don’t have access to the website. We originally set up the webpage on an associate’s email that is no longer working with us. I don’t know where to start to recover the website.

Hi there,
I do not see any sites under your WordPress.com account when I check on our end. You can confirm by visiting this page: https://wordpress.com/sites.
Is it possible you created your site under a different login instead? What is the URL of the site you are needing help with?
Happy to check in our system so we can take a closer look.

The website is https://blackdiamondhvacrservices.com/ I’ve tried contacting bluehost but the email they sent didn’t show up. Is there any way to recover this domain so we dont have to start over and make a new one.

Hi @blackdiamondhvacrservices, your site uses a free copy of WordPress rather than our hosting services, so there’s not much we can do from our side.
But your host should be able to help you with one of these account recovery options. Just be sure to make a backup first:
https://wordpress.org/documentation/article/reset-your-password/For more help beyond what your host can give you, there is another set of forums for the free WordPress software:
https://wordpress.org/support/forums/This summary explains the difference between the free WordPress software and our managed hosting at WordPress.com. Let us know if you have any questions about our services!
