Lost access to my website

  THIS IS MY VERY FIRST TIME USING THIS, SO… I apologize if doing something wrong here.

  After working with a freelancer from FiveRR, I lost the username and password to access my WordPress website at http://www.GenevaLatinoFestival.com. I do not want to think this person changed everything on me (I don’t know why… I paid him). I volunteered to this non-profit organization in the small town of Geneva, NY to create this website for their event, and now I can not access it because somehow WordPress does not have my username nor my password (not even my email) related to this website. The website is on and working, but its content has to be updated.

  PLEASE, HELP…!!!

  Hello, I’m sorry to hear that you are having trouble with your website. However, your site is not hosted with WordPress.com. It is a site using the open-source WordPress software (from WordPress.org) but hosted elsehwere.

  To clear up any confusion, WordPress.com and WordPress.org are two different entities: https://wordpress.com/support/com-vs-org/

  WordPress.org has complete documentation for self-hosted/installed versions of WordPress.org at https://wordpress.org/support/ and support at https://wordpress.org/support/forums/

  And, they do have some options for you at https://wordpress.org/support/article/resetting-your-password/
