Lost Access to my wordpress.com website

  I went to log in to add a post using the name of the site/wp-login.php

  I suddenly came to a page where I had to enter my email address and password. It would not accept my password. So I changed the password.

  I tried to log in again, it sent me to some page with my sites and reader. I checked My Sites and it says I have no sites. I have NO IDEA what is going on and what has changed to prevent me from logging on exactly as I did last week.

  http://duncanbusiness.wordpress.com/ is a WordPress.com site.

  This means, you can logic at https://wordpress.com/ with your WordPress.com username moonrabbit13 and the password associated with it.

  You need not necessarily login at http://duncanbusiness.wordpress.com/wp-login.php

  Can you try logging into at https://wordpress.com/ and see if that help? Let us know how it goes.

  Hi there,

  The site/wp-login.php link only applies to sites using the open source WordPress.org software, not to WordPress.com sites. On WordPress.com you log into an account, not into individual sites.

  To access the site, https://duncanbusiness.wordpress.com/, you need to be logged in as the username, sharoninduncan, not the moonrabbit13 username you’re using to post here in the forums.

  Log out of this account and clear your browser cookies. Then go to the link below and log into the other account:

  https://wordpress.com/log-in

  You are all wonderful. Thank you. The strange thing is that up until last week, it worked just fine. I will try this in the morning.
