lost access to rest password and login

I have been updating the site with blogs on and off for 5 years, and I find that even though my save password works, It says i need to reset password to login. Ok fine I send link to reset and i never get a password to the email it is supposed to be associated. I can get support since it was free so no transaction ID and I don’t have the email when it was setup years ago.

I used a username (not an email address) for this login for the packetized WordPress.com blog. I can log in with the Google password manager’s supplied username/password (but it tells me that for security reasons, I need to reset my password), but when I try, I cannot get it to email me to reset my password. And yes, I’ve been through my email looking at spam folders etc. Once I get access a good lesson learning is to configure dual auth and a backup email…

You are simply logged in to the wrong account. Log out from current wittem and log in again using the username miwitte – https://wordpress.com/forums/users/miwitte/.

That’s my problem. If I log in with Miwitte with my password, it successfully authenticates, but it tells me that I must change my password for security reasons. When I try to send a password reset, I never get it to my registered email, (email visible only to moderators and staff) and yes I’ve checked all my spam folders. So, my password is working, but WordPress is making me change it, and I cannot receive the password on my registered email. I need to know if it is sending the reset password to my email or not (or a different email?)

Again, I can only post to the forum using this username. If I try to log in to Miwitte, I get this error, and the reset password or send link email never arrives. Your account has been blocked as a security precaution. To continue, you must reset your password.

I guess my question is, “Is my miwitte account and my wittem account still have the same email? (They were both created using the same email address) That’s the only thing I can think of as to why the reset password and login link are not getting to me.
