Lost Access to Visual Editor during Auto Update to WP 4.X
-
I have lost access to visual editor, and have tried EVERY suggestion option on chat boards and on this blog. I have swapped out themes, deactivated all plug ins, installed Use Google Library, and have cleared all cache. Note the problem persists across different PCs, and with Chrome, IE and Mozilla. Not really sure what to try next. I am now running WP 4.2.2, and all plug ins are updated.
Any suggestions would be MOST appreciated!!!!

You must have another site that is running WordPress.ORG software. I say that because here at WordPress.COM Staff do all upgrades on blogs hosted here like http://pattonhcblog.wordpress.com/ and as we are on continuous roll-out we are always running on the latest version.
WordPress.COM and WordPress.ORG are completely separate and have different logins, features, run different versions of some themes with the same names, and have separate support documentation and separate support forums. Read the differences here http://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/
If you don’t have a username account at WordPress.ORG click http://wordpress.org/support/ and register one on the top right hand corner of the page that opens, so you can post to the support forums there.
Resetting your WordPress.ORG password http://codex.wordpress.org/Resetting_Your_Password
WordPress.org support docs are at https://codex.wordpress.org/Main_Page -
