lost access to WordPress blog: "ianrayhawke" as "(email visible only to moderators and staff) is gone!

Over a year ago — maybe even 2 years at this point — I created a WordPress blog with my name as user name: “ianrayhawke”. I’m an actor and I basically set it up with some pictures and text. But by the time I got back to it to blog (many months unfortunately) I had forgotten my password and which of my emails I used for the account. I tried them all when attempting to create a new password — but the password reset did not go to ANY of my email addresses! Then, after many months I remembered that I had created a special email for my WordPress blog: (email visible only to moderators and staff). Unfortunately, in the interim, Yahoo decided to cancel all Ymail accounts. I created the WordPress blog “ianrayhawk” (without the “e” at the end) before I changed my name to “Hawke”. Now I can’t log onto it either as I can’t recall which email I used for that one now either! So I created this new blog — which I do have a purpose for using as a blog. But I would really like to have access to my blog that I created with user name “ianrayhawke”. Since the email I used to set up that account no longer exists — and I have asked Yahoo to reactivate it with no luck — isn’t there some way that I can prove to you that is my blog account? That email was “(email visible only to moderators and staff)”. Now that it’s clear that it no longer exists, will you help me?

Thanks for responding auxclass — I didn’t realize I was posting twice, I was just responding to the pages that came up on my screen. I really don’t know how this works — or even can work. Seems to me it’s a Catch 22 — or something WordPress never considered could happen.

Is the recover link the one that offers to send a message for password reset to the email you used to registered the blog account? How can that work if my registered email account no longer exists?
