Lost access to WordPress domain
-
Last year I created a WordPress free domain grosucorina.wordpress.com in memory of my mother that passed away.
I tried recently to edit it but I no longer have admin privileges. When I log-in, the site doesn’t appear in the https://wordpress.com/sites section, and when I try to access https://grosucorina.wordpress.com/wp-admin/ I get an error:
User thoughtful0f18658646 Cannot Access the Dashboard Requested
You are logged in as “thoughtful0f18658646” and do not have the necessary privileges to access the dashboard for “Corina Grosu“. If you are not “thoughtful0f18658646”, please log out, and log back in with your username. If you are “thoughtful0f18658646” and you need access, please ask an administrator of the site to invite you.
Also my user name changed, it wasn’t thoughtful0f18658646.
Please, is there any way I can regain admin access to the site?
Thank you a lot!

Hi there,
I’m truly sorry to hear about your loss. I understand you’re trying to regain access to your mother’s website: https://grosucorina.wordpress.com.
After checking the site, I noticed that there’s only one user associated with it. That likely explains why you’re currently unable to access it—you haven’t been added as a user.
If you’d like to recover the site, I recommend filling out our account recovery form here:
https://wordpress.com/wp-login.php?action=recoveryIf you run into any issues while filling it out, feel free to email us directly at help@wordpress.com, and we’ll take it from there.
If there’s anything more you need, just let us know.

Yes, thank you, I realized I’ve created the website with the username of another email address. Now I’ve recovered it! I really appreciate!
