Lost account
-
Hello, we have a blog at the following address.
noahsarkchurchblog.wordpress.com
The access details have been lost and because we don’t have proof of the welcome email, or two factor authentication, etc, we can’t send the form to help access the account, since this information is required.
What can be done please? Is it possible to send a message to the registered address so that the person who it is registered to is alerted and can pass on the details to us?

Hi wpwsuk,
noahsarkchurchblog.wordpress.com is owned by the account noahsarkchurchadmin. Have you already tried resetting the password with that username?
This process will send an email to the address connected to the site owner’s account. For security reasons, I can’t share that information so you’ll need to check all email accounts including the spam folders.
If the password reset email doesn’t come through, the account recovery form will be the only way to recover noahsarkchurchblog.wordpress.com:
Let me know if you have any luck with the password reset.

Hello Gemma,
We gave your idea a shot, but the email did not reach the intended person. So, with that, I have recreated the website for him on WordPress.org. since it was such a simple site, it was just quicker to do it this way.
Thanks for your assistance

Hi lilyskaraokefiles161117,
You’re welcome and thanks for letting me know. If you do eventually find the password reset email and decide to try and recover the site again at a later date, just get in touch again.
