Lost account info

I began to build a WordPress site (www.drone-quest.co.uk last October and I purchased a few add-ins but the business it was intended for has undergone several delays and changes and I have done nothing with the draft site for several months. Now the project is back on and I need to get the website running again but the business wants to use a different URL (www.gamequest.uk). I purchased the URL through 1and1 and tried to change the settings in WordPress to point at the new URL and the same folder within the 1and1 server but I appear to have lost everything! I can re-create the website easily but WordPress tels me that I do not have a website and offeres to ser one up for me and charge me a monthly fee. Presumably I’m still paying a monthly fee and I don’t want to pay twice for the same service. How can I get out of this mess?

The domain, drone-quest.co.uk, has never been connected to any site or account on WordPress.com, and you’re not paying us for anything. If you had a WordPress site at that domain, it was using the open source WordPress software at another hosting provider. We cannot help with that version of WordPress in these forums.
drone-quest.co.uk also appears to be registered with 1and1, so please contact them to find out if the hosting account for that domain is still active with them, or if they still have backups of the site if not.
