Lost account info

  My local non profit org has lost all access to their website.
  I’ve been trying to contact the person who made a website for two years, but haven’t gotten any sort of response, and everything is set up with their name and details.

  At this point its so out of date it would be easiest to start from scratch.
  Is there any way to transfer the domain name to the non profit and we build a new website?

  Hi there,

  Can you tell us the URL of the site in question?

  Only the person who owns a domain, at any domain provider, can transfer ownership of the domain to another person or domain provider. So if the domain is registered with us on WordPress.com, the only way to regain control over the domain would be to regain access to the WordPress.com account that owns it.
