Lost account information
-
Hi, my dad made a WordPress account about 10 years ago, and has since then forgotten, changed or lost anything which he might use to recover the account. He would like to use it again, and in particular, add to the existing information on the account. Would you be able to help him to recover the account, or, if not, could you delete the account so he can start again?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi there,
Your dad will need to fill the account recovery form to provide certain pieces of information, under Proof of Ownership, to verify that he is the owner of the blog in question.
You can read more here: https://en.support.wordpress.com/account-recovery/

Hi gabriellajoustra,
Would you be able to help him to recover the account, or, if not, could you delete the account so he can start again?
Closing an account means the username will become unavailable and the site deleted — that address will also be unavailable for use in the future. If your Dad wants to recover the account, please ask him to fill out the Account Recovery form @labifrancis suggested and then we can look at the next steps.
Without that information, we won’t be able to help recover the account for security reasons.
I’ll be here if you have any questions.
