We moved our domain to squarespace and lost access to our admin site. I know there is a way to log into our dashboard on the wordpress site but I don’t have the email associated with the domain. Is there any way to try and retrieve the email and then log in? If we got back to wordpress will we be able to access that site and data again?

Moving your domain to Squarespace has only disconnected the “address” from your content; your WordPress.com site and all its data remain safely stored on their servers and can still be accessed via your site’s default URL (typically yoursitename.wordpress.com/wp-admin). To regain access without the associated email address, you should use the WordPress.com Account Recovery Form, where you can prove ownership by providing a Transaction ID from a past billing statement or the original Activation Key sent when the site was created. Once you successfully log back in, you will be able to access all your data and can even use the Tools > Export feature to move your content over to Squarespace.

    Hi there!

I don’t see any site or domain that is associated with the WordPress.com account from which you posted this.

Could you please share the domain name you are referring to?
