Lost admin account
-
Hi,
I created a wordpress account and page a couple of months ago. I set up the site then forgot about it. I am now trying to make some edits to the site. Unfortunately, I am having difficulty signing into my admin account. Whenever I type in the username for what I remember being the admin, I am told that this username doesn’t exist. I’d like to be able to edit my pages so any help is appreciated!
Thanks,

Hello!
It’s important to clarify the distinctions between three versions of “WordPress” to avoid any confusion:
- The free, open-source WordPress software that powers your website.
- WordPress.org, the open-source project where you can obtain the software for free to use on your chosen hosting provider.
- WordPress.com, a managed hosting provider of the WordPress software, which is the platform you are currently contacting.
As your site is not hosted with us, we have limitations in what we can assist with. However, I can guide you in the right direction to seek help.
For most WordPress sites, you can log in via the address: http://milesmena.com/wp-admin.
If you encounter any issues, please reach out to the WordPress community for guidance at https://wordpress.org/support/forum/how-to-and-troubleshooting.
I hope this information proves helpful!
