Lost Admin Password, Password Reset isn't working

    Hi All,

    I am having trouble with one of my wordpress.com sites, essentially I was working away and my browser somehow signed me out and didn’t remember my admin password. So I thought “No big deal, I’ll do a password reset” but no, I tried to do that and I was greeted with a “I just installed WordPress free at

    MOJO Marketplace — a leader in Themes, Plugins, and Professional Services… XY.com coming soon”

    When I visit the password reset page http://www.XY.com/index.php/my-account/lost-password/

    Any ideas on how to actually reset my password now?

    Somewhat similar problem!

    I typed *.*/wp-login.php (after my website domain name) so that I could access my wordpress domain edit page.

    However, I cannot edit my website owing to having forgotten my password. When I tried to reset my password, I received the following error message, and I could not reset my password:

    “The email could not be sent.
    Possible reason: your host may have disabled the mail() function.”

    Any ideas on how to actually reset my password now?
