Lost Admin Role access

  I think my site was hacked. garysidoti.wordpress.com because I can still sign in as admin, but my role is contributor. I have not built the site yet, so I am not worried about content. How to I start all over again. there are two sites under my email (email visible only to moderators and staff) and I am ok with deleting both to start over. What do I do next?

  It looks like you may have 2 accounts here.

  4 hours ago, the site was renamed from dailygracenotes.wordpress.com to garysidoti.wordpress.com and the original Administrator of dailygracenotes.wordpress.com is still the Administrator of garysidoti.wordpress.com

  If you log in to WordPress.com as that second account, you can promote the current account to Administrator.

  Hi there. I have a similar issue. I have just tried to post to my WP site – PHNChannel.blog but find that I no longer have administrator access. There seems to be some link that has been made with my associate’s WP account. Can you explore a resolution for me please?

  You’re currently logged in as the owner of the site, and you do have Administrator access.

  Can you describe what’s missing from https://wordpress.com/posts/my/phnchannel.blog ?

  Hi again. I have tried to add a new post today about the Covid19 Pandemic but i don’t seem to have permission to publish. I will go back in and see if this has been rectified. Thanks

  You definitely do have permission to publish as both the owner and administrator.

  If you encounter the problem again, would you please quote the error?
