lost all my pics/ contents from the old editor

    Menu : “About” and “sports” are in draft,where do I publish them before I can load them from Revisions?

    HI,
    I now have 4 menus
    About/ Journal/ otherpics/ sports

    my concern I’ve lost all my pics + comments(Journal) built through the years, they only show my last 2 pics…
    I’d like to keep the old version .
    I’ve clicked revision but I can’t bring them back.
    I need your help

    As we mentioned before, if the pervious version is not in revisions, I’m afraid we also have no way to restore it for you.

    HI ,
    I don’t understand I didn’t delete anything, since you move to block, all my pics + comments disappeared, there are only afew left.
    I’ve checked in the media, all pics are there, why my posts from the menu disappeared?

    What are the posts you’re looking for? Do you remember any of their titles?

    The site, https://magicalex21.wordpress.com/, only has three posts on it, the last one published in 2015. Nothing has been deleted from that site in the past year, except for the media files staff-blorbo mentioned earlier in this thread.

    I see you used to have another site connected to this account: http://alexleduc.net/ That site was hosted with Bluehost, and has since gone offline. Could the content you’re looking for perhaps have been on that site instead?

    even the content went to this site, what happens to the posts on wordpress?
    I did mention many times, I had my posts showed before the editor moves to block.

    If the content was on that other site, it was never in our possession.

    WordPress.com is not the same thing as WordPress. WordPress.com is just one of many hosting providers for the WordPress software, and we only have control over the content of sites hosted on our servers.

    That other site was hosted on Bluehost’s servers, so they had control over content on that site, and they’re the only people who might be able to help you restore it.

    it was hosted by wordpress.com, which is free hosting, I’ve posted my pics for fun, why should I pay bluehost to host it?
    never mind, I have to start over again after many years of posting.
    my last question: how do I keep the old editor or classic editor?
    will my new post remain with old editor?

    To switch to the classic editor, click on the ‘. . .’ settings icon in the upper right corner of the editing screen.

    Then, click on Switch to Classic Editor.

    Once you switch back to the classic editor, any new post you create will be created in that editor.

    I’m sorry, I login, I don’t see where is the setting icon?
    on the top right, there is Write, screen option.

    That option is inside the editor. So you must first open the editor by creating a new post or editing an existing one before you’ll see that.

    Yes, that means you’re using the Classic Editor.

    Pages are a form of content, like posts, so they cannot contain posts. Instead, utilize your categories, as each will have its own archive page, like https://magicalex21.wordpress.com/category/travel-journal/
