  Hi, I wrote and published a blog last week and it has dissapeared on my page – I think this was because I logged in on my iPhone but wrote it on my iPad.

  Is it possible to recover this?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  What is the title of the post? I don’t see any sign in the logs for your site that a post was recently deleted.

  
  @manisharaut2019, the OP is not asking about a deleted site. They’re asking about a missing post on their site. Please make sure you understand someone’s question before replying – if you’re unsure, rather ask them for more info than making assumptions.

  Hi Kokkieh,

  So what happened was I wrote the post on my iPad version of WordPress – titled “Is a diagnosis always appropriate”. It was posted and a few people got to read it.

  I then logged in on my iPhone and there was an older version of the same post so it seems like WordPress updated and deleted the more recent post.

  Now I’m wondering if there’s anyway to recover it.

  And this was on discoverarainbow.wordpress.com?

  I don’t see any post with that title on the site, nor do I see any record in our logs that a post has recently been deleted.

  Can you see the post at all still if you access the app on your iPad? Disable wifi on the iPad before you access the app – it might be the post is still stored locally on the device, in which case you might be able to make a copy of it. But once the app syncs with the web any local copy on there might also be lost.

  Strangely, Google seems to have picked up something from discoverarainbow.wordpress.com although the link and the cache is to the site itself and not a specific post. (temp screenshot)

  Thanks for the reply, it seems to be in there somewhere. It’s a bit of a mystery but had been a good lesson in WordPress – only use from one device as it seems there’s no shared cloud memory among devices!
