  Tonight I was putting the final touches on a blog entitled My Dad Would Be Proud. When I handed it to my wife to proofread she commented that there was an unfinished sentence. I looked and realized a lot of it was missing and the last save date was April 20. I have been working on this regularly all this past week and have saved it several times in the past couple days including tonight. Can you please find my most recent version? Thanks a lot.

  Hi.

  By any chance, were you working on this draft using the WordPress iPhone app? The drafts kept in the iPhone app do not sync to the ones kept on the WordPress.com website. This might explain the difference.

  If that’s the case, you can make sure nothing is lost by publishing the post from the iPhone app, and then going to your Dashboard and marking it as a Draft. This is just to get the info out of your phone without losing anything.

  If that’s not the case, then, can you take a look at Revisions and tell me if there’s anything relevant for you there?

  It was done on my iphone app and then I opened it on my ipad. Now even the version on my iphone says April 20th. Can I still retrieve it somehow?

  Can you make sure that your iPhone doesn’t have any pending Draft, maybe with a different title? Same with the iPad.

  Also, quick follow–up: Can you please post a list of steps you remember taking from the last time you had the correct draft, until you noticed the missing parts?

  That would be really useful to get in touch with the people in charge of the Mobile apps.

  Take a look in the Trash file. Someone else said their post went up okay, but today it was in their Trash.

  I started my blog creation in mid April on my ipad. From that point on all my edits to my draft were done on the iphone. I opened the draft on my ipad last night and all my edits were gone.

  I cannot find a trash can anywhere on the site.

  @ciyourworld I have asked the developers of the Mobile App if there’s anything else we can check or do. I’ll get back to you as soon as I get any info.
