lost blogs

  We have 2 blogs with wordpress, yet they are hosted with our provider. Every time they upgrade, we lose our blogs and the ability to upload the backup. We have to start all over again. Is there any way to stop this from happening? We have installed the WP from our control panel on our sites. Is there a better way? Can anyone tell me another way to hook the WP blog to the site to where maybe when they upgrade we wouldnt lose it?

  Your provider sounds awful. But solutions for WordPress.ORG blogs like yours is to be found at WordPress.ORG. Trust me, there are solutions. Nobody should have to rebuild from scratch each time.
