Lost Comment

I use my blog as discussion support for a college class on creativity. One of my students wrote a very long essay-like post, and when he submitted it, he didn’t include his e-mail address. (He thought the requirement superfluous.) He said his post immediately disappeared. Is there any way to recover it? (I have looked in the usual places in the administrative area of the blog.)–bclemes

Did he submit it as a comment, as indicated by your title, or as a post, as indicated by your message? If a comment, check your spam queue. If a post, if you haven’t already, check manage>posts> and filter for drafts.

I assume this blog is at wordpress.com?

Thanks, ellaella! Since I am new to blogging, it took me awhile to find the two features you mention, but I checked both and didn’t find his remarks. Yes, the blog is at wordpress. I posted a message and asked students for comments, so presumably his response would be a comment. Do you have any other suggestions?
