Lost comments on postings because of no name

  I recently just wrote a long response to a comment posted on my blog. It wrote this reponse from another computer and was not logged into my wordpress account during the writing. When I clicked “post comment” I recieved an error message saying that I failed to fill out the ID info, when I clicked back to the comment page to correct, my whole comment had dissappeared. Is there any way to retrieve it?

  Unfortunately, if the comment was never posted, it never entered our database, so there’s no way to recover it.
