I have owned ‘stevendeyoungmusic.com’ for several years since I purchased it from wordpress.com. I was editing my site last month. Now, all of a sudden my account says I have no domains or purchase history. What did you guys do to lose my history and my domain?

WordPress.com didn’t do a thing. You are simply logged in to the wrong account. You created the account lcdrmichaels only a few hours ago so it cannot own a much older domain.
As you have a paid plan, simply use the transaction id to restore access to the account owning that site – https://wordpress.com/support/account-recovery/#verify-your-account-ownership

lost domain
Since you indicate “Correct account: No” for stevendeyoungmusic.com, this strongly suggests you’re logged into the wrong WordPress.com account. This is a very common issue that explains why your domain and purchase history appear missing.
Here’s how to resolve this:
- You likely have multiple WordPress.com accounts. Check if you have other email addresses that might be associated with different WordPress.com accounts where your domain purchase was made.
- Use your transaction ID for account recovery:
- Find your original payment receipt/confirmation email for stevendeyoungmusic.com (check all email accounts, including spam folders).
- Use the transaction ID from that receipt at: https://wordpress.com/support/account-recovery/#account-recovery-help
- This will help you recover access to the correct account that owns the domain.
- If you can’t find the receipt:
- Contact WordPress.com Support at https://wordpress.com/support/contact/
- Explain that you can’t access your domain stevendeyoungmusic.com and suspect you’re in the wrong account.
- Provide any proof of ownership you have (old emails, billing info, etc.).
- Check if someone transferred the domain: If you had multiple people with admin access to your site, someone else might have transferred ownership of the domain to their account.
The fact that your domain still exists but isn’t showing in your current account means it’s almost certainly associated with a different WordPress.com login. Using your transaction ID is the fastest way to recover the correct account.
