Lost Domain / Blog no longer associate with my profile

  Hello,

  I’ve attempted to log into my blog twice today and have even reset my password but somehow my WP profile and my blog have become dissociated.

  My last published post at my blog (The SoulReservoir) was on 06/09/2011, way before the newer implementation of transaction ID or two factor authentication codes. If activation URL’s were being used back then, I must not have been aware of it because I’ve searched my records and have not found an email listing it either.

  Please advise how I can regain access, as I’d like begin writing again and keep the same domain name and not have to start a completely new blog and build several new social media presences.

  Hi there,

  If you aren’t able to provide an email from the email address with which the blog was registered, a transaction ID, or the original activation link, I’m afraid we won’t be able to help you recover the account.

  We have a strict policy in place to protect our users from third parties who might try to use our support system to gain access to other users’ accounts.

  Advise what type of email do you need sent besides a transaction ID, or the original activation link? There has to be some type of verification other than the ones listed. Again, the blog was created before these security measures were implemented, so I would not have those forms of documentation.
